An experiment with waste material (fabric, architectural honeycomb, scrap MDF) combined with stained glass and a xicato spot light. Wood charring was applied to contrast the bright colourful light coming from within the sculpture.
The user looks into the honeycomb and it turns on as they sit down in front of it. Two sensors control spinning of the stained glass and rotation of the honeycomb. The combination of these movements alters the user’s perception of the sculpture.
